• It was refreshing to see Black, Dick booted out of office. Maybe now we can start to bring people together rather than dividing them apart. Even in his loss, Black proved once again how much he suffers from delusions of grandeur. I have news for you Dick, your loss had nothing to do with anything even remotely related to President Bush. You should not flatter yourself that much in thinking that anything on a national scale would affect you in your tiny little hateful world. The only thing the two of you have in common is that you are both "extreme" and "ineffective." To that end you needed no help from our President.

• Thanks for all of your hard work and energy! I was amazed at the response at the polls... The Republicans working next to us wouldn't put out Black's literature until one of the afternoon workers arrived and complained. I am so grateful to know that even the Republicans were turned off by this polarizing hate mongrel that we elected entirely too many times -- I am grateful to be rid of him!!

• Back at the University of Florida, where "Dick" and I are loyal alums, there is a nostalgic song that we sing after the end of the third quarter of every home football game. We put our arms around one another and sing as we sway back and forth, "In all kinds of weather, we'll all stick together..."

  Well, Dick Black has chosen not to stick together with a good portion of his UF alumni, much less his constituency.

• I was at the same Giant as Jeff L. I think. I refused to shake his hand as well. When his helper offered to tell me about Black's positions, I told her "I plan on voting for his opponent, thank you." I was answering her, but I was talking to him. I voted. He lost. I'm gonna have a party to celebrate.

How sweet it is!! With Black gone, we need to focus our attention on getting his friends and relative off the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors.

• It takes a lot of nerve to put up the political signs of an opponent of your neighbor. But that's just what you'll see on Dick's street. Even his nearby neighbors reject him. The only Black signs you'll see are in front of HIS house. Dave Poisson's neighborhood is plastered with Poisson signs. People recognize sincerity and Dick just doesn't have it.

• Mr. Black continues to erode my faith in public servitude. Certainly there are few in service to the citizenry who are truly altruistic, but Mr. Black’s overtly extreme, and community unconscious campaign charter are just too much.

  I fear that Loudoun will be part of a larger, supported, fall of the education system in Virginia. Where under education may seem acceptable in the tobacco fields (I bet it is not), a further reduction of educational standards in Loudoun County is unconscionable. I feared that Loudoun’s educational standard was insufficient when I moved to the county prior to having children, now with children entering the public education system, I fear that I will need to fund a private education as the lack of commitment and resources to our education system is devaluing it to the point of worthless. At the helm of this sinking ship is Mr. Black.

  I saw Mr. Black blocking the entrance to a local Giant over the weekend and I took some hope in that many people walked on by, refused his hand shake, and skirted his propaganda. Perhaps he realized that a man with a small child would want nothing to do with him as he and his crony steered clear. It was unfortunate as I had questions, lots of them, and I had some time to spend for this cause.

  As a religious person, I pray that Mr. Black’s agenda of hate is recognized and that the voters turn out to show this radical zealot the door. He shames the rest of us faithful with his public declaration of xenophobia, racism, conceit, and implication of morality as a cause for hate.

  Please send Mr. Black back to whatever spider hole he crept out of and take his delusional family with him, preferably out of Loudoun County!

• If all those who submitted the above comments would head for the polls and bring a number of their friends, we may finally get rid of this pitiful "politician." If we don't vote him out, he will be strutting his stuff in Richmond for another term. GET OUT THE VOTE, we need to send him packing.

• Last night at the Senior Center in Sterling, Mr. Black told me that he would pray for me because I asked him if there were any good liberals at all. I suggested that that was awfully condescending. He shrugged. His performance was dreadful at the "debate."

• Dick Black is an embarrassment to the Commonwealth of Virginia and the 32nd district. Dick Black has been criminally ineffective in helping solve the many unique problems facing Northern Virginia- choosing to instead divide us for political gain and brief moments in the national spotlight.
  
  Under Dick's leadership our quality of life has suffered greatly from increased crime, traffic, and reductions in the public services we dependon. Meanwhile Dick continues to focus on divisive social issues having little relevance to our daily lives in Northern Virginia. Dick has done nothing to bring home Northern Virginia's fair share of taxes sent to Richmond and has supported every effort to strip localities from governing locally and participating in local decisions. Dick has decided Richmond is a far better place to govern from than his local district.

• Black spoke to our "young republicans" club this morning before school. Some of the students attending were shocked that he once again handed out the infamous plastic fetuses along with a letter. Though I was not at the meeting, I personally find this quite offensive.

• I am so glad someone is out there trying to get this guy out of office. I am sick and tired of my love of my country coming into question because I do not support the war. I go to church every Sunday and sometimes during the week so I consider myself a good Christian but I do not feel the need to wear my religion on the bumper of my car. I feel that if people feel the need to parade their religion all the time that they are not secure in their beliefs and need to validate to themselves their religion.
